Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledgers for diverse client portfolios
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including balance sheets and income statements
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Assist with tax preparation and financial audits
- Implement and maintain internal accounting controls
- Utilize QuickBooks and accounting software for data management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and IRS regulations
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AIPB) highly desirable
