Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for 15+ clients
- Manage sales tax filings and compliance for multiple jurisdictions
- Oversee payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks Online)
- Collaborate with tax professionals for quarterly and year-end reporting
- Provide financial insights to clients through regular business reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP and sales tax regulations
- Experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines
