Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 client portfolios including A/P, A/R, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements, P&L reports, and balance sheets with actionable insights
- Oversee sales tax filings and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Implement and optimize accounting software workflows (QuickBooks Online preferred)
- Collaborate with CPA firms for annual audits and tax preparation
- Lead month-end closing processes with zero tolerance for discrepancies
- Mentor junior bookkeepers and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (VBA a plus)
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines in high-volume environments
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP, sales tax (CO), and payroll regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CMA preferred)
- Exceptional analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for client and stakeholder interactions
