Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping operations including accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reconcile bank accounts with 99% accuracy
- Maintain and update QuickBooks software with daily transaction entries
- Assist with quarterly tax filings and year-end audits
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and trends
- Collaborate with CPAs on compliance matters and financial reporting
- Train junior accounting staff on bookkeeping best practices
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with VLOOKUP and pivot table skills
- Proven track record of managing multi-entity accounting systems
- Familiarity with GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AIPB) strongly preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
