Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ diverse clients
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Ensure compliance with Hawaii state tax regulations
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online systems
- Assist with annual audits and tax preparations
- Provide financial insights to business clients
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online/Xero software
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance preferred
- CPA or QuickBooks certification a plus
- Strong knowledge of Hawaii tax laws
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables/VLOOKUP
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
