Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for diverse client portfolios
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and process payroll for select clients
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and Oklahoma state tax requirements
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks systems for maximum efficiency
- Assist with audits and provide financial insights for strategic decision-making
- Train junior staff on bookkeeping best practices and software proficiency
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Proven track record of managing multi-client bookkeeping portfolios
- Strong understanding of GAAP, payroll taxes, and Oklahoma state regulations
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to identify discrepancies and recommend solutions
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AIPB) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
