Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 small business clients using QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations with zero tolerance for errors
- Prepare monthly financial statements and profit/loss analyses
- Handle payroll processing and tax filings for multi-state clients
- Implement and maintain organized digital filing systems for financial documents
- Assist with quarterly tax preparation and year-end audits
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to business owners
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks certification
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Expertise in multi-state payroll processing and sales tax compliance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting software
- Proven track record of managing high-volume accounts
- CPA or Enrolled Agent designation strongly preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
