Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile multi-client accounting systems with precision
- Process accounts payable/receivable and maintain cash flow records
- Prepare monthly financial statements and tax documentation
- Oversee payroll processing for 50+ employees using QuickBooks
- Implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with CPAs during quarterly audits and year-end reviews
- Train junior bookkeepers on financial software best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios
- Deep knowledge of Texas tax regulations and payroll compliance
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
