Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank/credit card statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll for 15-20 clients
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow)
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks systems for client workflows
- Assist with tax preparation and audit documentation support
- Train junior bookkeepers on compliance procedures
- Develop custom financial reports for client decision-making
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced QuickBooks Online certification required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Expertise in GAAP and IRS compliance standards
- Proficiency with Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and Xero
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Texas CPA license a plus
