Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 small to medium businesses using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis with actionable insights
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Coordinate with CPAs during tax season and provide year-end support
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial data security
- Train clients on accounting best practices and software optimization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Proven expertise in multi-client bookkeeping and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, macros)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Washington state tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with cloud-based accounting platforms (Xero, FreshBooks)
