Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ client portfolios using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processing with 100% accuracy
- Coordinate quarterly tax preparations and year-end audits with external CPAs
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls for financial compliance
- Lead monthly client financial review meetings and provide actionable insights
- Streamline accounting workflows using automation tools like Hubdoc and Bill.com
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 3+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (VBA a plus)
- Proven experience with multi-currency transactions and international clients
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero tolerance for errors
- Experience with construction or real estate industry accounting a major plus
