Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 business clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations with 100% accuracy
- Handle payroll processing and tax filings for Kentucky-based businesses
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and audit support
- Implement financial controls and process improvements for client portfolios
- Collaborate with CPAs on tax planning and compliance matters
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record of maintaining error-free financial records
- Kentucky payroll processing certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong analytical skills with attention to numerical detail
- Excellent communication abilities for client interactions
- Proficient with GAAP principles and Kentucky tax regulations
