Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 client portfolios including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with detailed variance analysis
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes ensuring GAAP compliance
- Implement and maintain robust accounting systems (QuickBooks Online, Xero) with customized workflows
- Collaborate with CPAs during audits and tax preparation documentation
- Develop financial models and forecasting reports for strategic decision-making
- Mentor junior bookkeepers and provide training on accounting best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/ACCA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Microsoft Excel (Advanced Functions)
- Proven track record of managing month-end/year-end closing processes
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and IRS compliance requirements
