Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ SMB clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare month-end financial statements including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Process payroll bi-weekly using Gusto and ensure timely tax filings
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and investment accounts monthly
- Assist clients with sales tax compliance and quarterly filings
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable workflows and aging analyses
- Implement financial controls and process improvements for clients
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced QuickBooks Online certification required
- Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and accounting software
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Proven experience with multi-state payroll and tax compliance
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and client relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
