Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll systems
- Prepare financial statements and tax documentation packages
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks for multi-client workflows
- Conduct quarterly financial reviews and variance analysis
- Collaborate with CPA firms during audit preparation
- Develop financial reporting dashboards for client presentations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Expert proficiency in Excel with pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with construction industry accounting preferred
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation a plus
