Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll for 15+ clients
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet) with attention to GAAP compliance
- Oversee month-end closing procedures and assist with annual audits
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks accounting systems for efficiency
- Collaborate with tax professionals to ensure regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in a professional services environment
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- Proven track record of managing multi-client accounting portfolios
- Exceptional attention to detail with error reconciliation skills
- Strong written communication for financial reporting and client interactions
