Join our dynamic finance team as a Senior Bookkeeper and become the backbone of our clients' financial operations. We're seeking a meticulous professional to manage daily accounting tasks with precision and integrity. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in our Uptown Charlotte office and 2 remote days weekly. You'll work with diverse industries including real estate, healthcare, and tech startups, ensuring compliance and financial clarity for our growing portfolio.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow operations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Handle payroll processing and tax filings for multiple entities
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online systems for clients
- Conduct quarterly and annual account reconciliations
- Collaborate with CPAs during audit preparation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Deep knowledge of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage multi-client portfolios
- Strong problem-solving skills for financial discrepancies
- Excellent communication with non-finance stakeholders
- Professional certification (CPA, CB, or EA) preferred
