Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile complex general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes with 100% accuracy
- Oversee payroll processing for 15-50 employees using QuickBooks Online
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial compliance
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual reviews
- Utilize advanced Excel functions for financial modeling and analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 5+ years of experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- CPA certification or equivalent accounting designation preferred
- Proven experience with multi-state sales tax filings
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP principles and SOX compliance
- Exceptional problem-solving skills for complex reconciliations
- Strong communication skills for client-facing interactions
