Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and monthly reconciliations
- Process accounts payable/receivable with zero-tolerance error rate
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance
- Oversee sales tax filings across multiple jurisdictions
- Implement internal controls for financial data integrity
- Collaborate with CPA firm for audit preparation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Deep understanding of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Proven track record of multi-client management
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or CB) preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
