Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll coordination
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations for client portfolios
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks accounting systems for efficiency
- Collaborate with tax professionals during quarterly reviews
- Lead month-end closing processes with zero-tolerance for errors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years experience in full-cycle bookkeeping for SMEs
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop/Online and Excel
- Proven track record with multi-state tax compliance
- Exceptional analytical skills and financial reporting experience
- Certification in QuickBooks or Xero highly desirable
- Strong communication skills for client advisory interactions
