Job Summary
As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining our general ledger, processing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. You will work closely with management to provide insights into the company's financial health.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Process payroll accurately and on time using ADP or similar software.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss reports.
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation filings.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop.
- Strong knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) is required.
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
