Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 client portfolios using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processing with 3-day turnaround targets
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis for all client accounts
- Coordinate annual tax preparation documentation with CPA partners
- Implement internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Lead month-end close processes with zero material discrepancies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks/Xero and Excel with VLOOKUP/PivotTable skills
- Proven track record of managing month-end closes with 100% accuracy
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax compliance requirements
- Experience with construction or manufacturing industry accounting a plus
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to numerical precision
- Ability to prioritize deadlines in a client-facing environment
