Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial records.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and resolving discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
- Collaborate with the external audit team to ensure compliance and facilitate the audit process.
- Maintain accurate internal controls and ensure adherence to company financial policies and procedures.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
