Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll using provided advanced payroll software and specialized equipment
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefit deductions with provided systems
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies using provided analytical tools
- Generate payroll reports and maintain confidential employee records
- Coordinate with HR and finance departments using provided communication platforms
- Conduct payroll audits using provided audit software
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with provided equipment/software
- Proficiency in payroll systems (ADP, Paychex, or similar) provided by company
- CPP or FPC certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of FLSA, multi-state tax laws, and garnishment regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with provided company laptops
- Experience with HRIS systems provided by employer
- Ability to operate provided multi-function printers/scanners for documentation
