Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks and accounting software
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger entries monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow operations
- Prepare financial statements and reports for executive review
- Ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations and GAAP standards
- Collaborate with auditors during financial reviews and tax season
- Implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with full-cycle responsibilities
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and accounting principles
- Experience with multi-state accounting and payroll processing
- Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or QuickBooks ProAdvisor) preferred
