Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile complex general ledger accounts with 100% accuracy
- Process multi-entity accounts payable/receivable and payroll for diverse client portfolios
- Prepare monthly financial statements, budgets, and variance analysis reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and evolving tax regulations across multiple industries
- Manage month-end/year-end closing processes and audit support documentation
- Implement and optimize accounting systems to enhance financial workflows
- Collaborate with CFOs and external auditors on financial strategy and compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent certification (CPA/CMA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-entity portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and advanced Excel functions
- Demonstrated success in managing complex reconciliations and financial reporting
- Deep understanding of sales tax, payroll, and corporate compliance requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail with ability to identify discrepancies in financial data
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines in high-volume environments
