Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 small business clients using QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end closings
- Prepare financial statements, P&L reports, and sales tax filings
- Implement internal controls and optimize accounting workflows
- Coordinate with CPA firms during annual audits and tax season
- Maintain organized digital financial records with 99.9% accuracy
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Texas sales tax filing experience
- QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication for client consultations
