Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile complex general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare month-end and year-end financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles with 98%+ accuracy
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Oversee bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies within 24 hours
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial systems
- Collaborate with CPAs during audit processes
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros)
- Proven experience with multi-entity accounting and payroll systems
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Professional certification (e.g., QuickBooks ProAdvisor, CB) required
- Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
