Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile complex multi-entity accounting systems using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare month-end closing reports and financial statements with precision
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and vendor relationships
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for 50+ employees
- Implement and optimize internal controls for financial security
- Collaborate with CPAs during annual audits and tax season
- Lead process improvements for financial workflows
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience in a tech/startup environment
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Experience with multi-currency transactions and international clients
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or equivalent qualification preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in high-volume settings
