Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile multi-client accounting books using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Process payroll and manage accounts payable/receivable cycles
- Ensure compliance with Washington state tax regulations
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls
- Collaborate with CPAs during quarterly audits
- Train junior bookkeepers on financial software
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Washington tax codes
- Proven track record in multi-client portfolio management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Professional certification (e.g., CB) highly desirable
