Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile complex general ledger accounts with monthly/quarterly accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow management
- Prepare financial statements and management reports with actionable insights
- Manage multi-state payroll processing and tax compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Implement and optimize accounting software workflows (QuickBooks Online, Xero)
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (VBA skills preferred)
- CPA or EA certification strongly preferred
- Expertise in multi-state tax compliance and GAAP standards
- Proven experience with high-volume transaction processing
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to microscopic detail
- Strong communication skills for client-facing interactions
