Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for executive review
- Maintain accurate general ledger with meticulous attention to GAAP compliance
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Implement and optimize internal financial controls and processes
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel for advanced reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in mid-sized companies
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (VBA knowledge a plus)
- Proven track record of managing full-cycle accounting operations
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IRS compliance requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
