Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile complex general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and ensure timely vendor payments
- Process payroll accurately and maintain compliance with federal/state regulations
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks, Xero)
- Conduct financial audits and internal controls assessments
- Collaborate with CFO on budget forecasting and variance analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience in a corporate or public accounting setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Deep knowledge of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification
- Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
