Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements with variance analysis and executive summaries
- Oversee sales tax compliance and quarterly tax filings
- Maintain accurate general ledger with detailed journal entries and account reconciliations
- Collaborate with CPA firm for annual audits and tax preparation
- Implement and optimize accounting software workflows
- Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of comprehensive bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online Pro
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Proven experience in month-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of Pennsylvania tax regulations and sales tax compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail with error-accuracy under 0.05%
