Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for diverse client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements including balance sheets and income statements
- Process payroll, tax filings, and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and maintain detailed financial records
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Assist with audits and provide financial insights for strategic decision-making
- Implement and improve accounting systems for operational efficiency
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Expertise in payroll processing and multi-state tax compliance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and macros
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transactions with 99.9% accuracy
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail with zero tolerance for errors
