Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile monthly bank statements
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll operations
- Prepare financial statements and assist with month-end closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations (federal/state)
- Implement and optimize accounting software workflows
- Support audits and financial reporting for stakeholders
- Manage vendor relationships and expense tracking systems
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax compliance
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or equivalent designation preferred
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
