Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll for diverse client portfolios
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations
- Implement and optimize bookkeeping processes using QuickBooks Online
- Collaborate with tax professionals during audit preparation
- Train junior staff on accounting software best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Xero a plus)
- Proven ability to manage multi-entity financial records
- Strong analytical skills with attention to accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Familiarity with sales tax reporting in Florida
