Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ diverse client portfolios
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Coordinate year-end tax documentation with CPA partners
- Implement QuickBooks optimization for clients
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Train junior bookkeepers on firm standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced QuickBooks Online certification required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Familiarity with construction/real estate accounting preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
