Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounts payable and receivable cycle, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and timely.
- Perform monthly and quarterly bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, trial balances, and monthly reports for management review.
- Maintain and update the general ledger using QuickBooks or Xero, ensuring all entries are supported by documentation.
- Process payroll updates and assist with year-end tax filings and audits.
- Reconcile credit card statements and manage petty cash funds.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in full-cycle bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online or Desktop and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Certified Bookkeeper or CPA preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect discrepancies and errors.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, full-time environment.
