Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for diverse client portfolios
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and oversee payroll processing
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations for all financial transactions
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred)
- Lead month-end closing procedures and provide financial insights to leadership
- Coordinate with auditors during annual reviews and tax season preparations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in a professional services environment
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Proven track record of managing multi-client accounting portfolios
- Strong understanding of sales tax regulations and payroll processing
- Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on financial accuracy
