Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile complex general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes with strict adherence to deadlines
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls for financial operations
- Collaborate with tax professionals to support quarterly/yearly tax preparations
- Utilize QuickBooks and accounting software to optimize financial workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with multi-entity portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Proven track record of managing month-end/year-end closing processes
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to identify discrepancies
- Strong communication skills for client/stakeholder interactions
