Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and P&L reports
- Process accounts payable/receivable with 100% accuracy
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies within 48 hours
- Assist with quarterly tax preparation and year-end audits
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency
- Maintain organized digital records with zero backlog tolerance
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks
- Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent certification (CPA preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros)
- Proven ability to meet strict weekly deadlines with weekly pay cycles
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Exceptional attention to detail with error rates below 0.5%
- Strong communication skills for client financial consultations
