Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for executive review
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow optimization
- Process complex payroll and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Oversee month-end closing procedures and audit preparation
- Implement and improve accounting systems for operational efficiency
- Collaborate with senior leadership on financial strategy and forecasting
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Deep understanding of GAAP principles and tax compliance requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and reporting
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to identify discrepancies
- Strong communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AAP) highly desirable
