Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and month-end closings
- Prepare financial statements and reports ensuring GAAP compliance
- Oversee payroll processing and tax filings for multiple entities
- Maintain and optimize QuickBooks Online configurations
- Collaborate with CPAs during audits and tax season
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Implement internal controls for financial risk mitigation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (advanced functions)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Proven track record of managing complex reconciliations
- Strong understanding of CA sales tax regulations
- Experience with construction or SaaS industry accounting a plus
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
