Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and process payroll for multiple clients
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial accuracy
- Collaborate with tax professionals during audit preparation
- Utilize QuickBooks Online for daily accounting operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios
- Strong analytical skills with error-detection capabilities
- Excellent communication and client relationship management
- Experience with construction or real estate accounting a plus
