Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes with precision and efficiency
- Prepare executive dashboards and variance analysis for senior leadership
- Implement process improvements using accounting software like QuickBooks Online and Oracle NetSuite
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
- Experience with daily pay systems or payroll processing a plus
