Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare month-end and year-end financial statements including balance sheets and income statements
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow optimization
- Process payroll accurately and ensure timely tax compliance
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial data integrity
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and tax season
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and Excel for advanced financial reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in a professional services environment
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Deep understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage multi-client financial portfolios
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and analytical mindset
- CPA or QuickBooks certification preferred
