Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledgers, accounts receivable/payable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for business clients
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance for 15-20 clients
- Oversee accounts payable cycles and vendor relationship management
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online systems for new clients
- Assist with year-end tax preparation and audit support
- Train junior staff on accounting software best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred
- Proven experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with manufacturing or SaaS industry accounting a plus
