Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll for 15+ clients
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow)
- Manage monthly closing processes and variance analysis
- Implement QuickBooks solutions for new client onboarding
- Collaborate with tax professionals during quarterly reviews
- Oversee month-end close and year-end audit preparation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years experience with QuickBooks Online/Desktop
- Expert proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Proven experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IRS compliance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Professional communication skills for client interactions
- Experience with construction or professional services accounting
