Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with 99.9% accuracy
- Process accounts payable/receivable and payroll for 50+ clients
- Generate monthly financial statements and management reports
- Implement QuickBooks cloud solutions for SME clients
- Conduct internal audits and ensure GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end closing procedures and tax preparation support
- Train junior bookkeepers on financial software best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience in public accounting
- Advanced QuickBooks and Excel certification required
- Proven expertise with multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and client management abilities
- Experience with cloud accounting platforms (Xero, Sage)
